2013 Top Fives – Graham Jarvis
Graham Jarvis is a regular feature on Enduro21. Whether on or off the track, Grimbo’s riding always does the talking. Here are his top five moments from 2013…
1. Graham Jarvis Wins Roof of Africa
Switching from Husaberg to Husqvarna for the end of season Roof of Africa many were eager to see how the Hard Enduro master would perform on his new steed. He didn’t disappoint. Despite opting to contest the race on a FE 250 four-stroke, Jarvis won the rain soaked race by one-hour.
2. Video – Jarvis Play Riding His Husqvarna
Pre-race play riding is when we usually see Grimbo at his mind-blowing best. Urban trials riding on an enduro bike before the Roof of Africa? Must be Graham Jarvis!
3. Graham Jarvis – The Motorcycle Courier
Ever wonder what Graham Jarvis might work at if he wasn’t the world’s best Hard Enduro rider? This is probably what would happen if he worked for a motorcycle courier service. Hey, least he still got the girl!
4. Jarvis Wins The Red Bull Hare Scramble
It was a case of fourth time lucky for Jarvis at the Red Bull Hare Scramble. Missing out on victory for the past three years, he finally conquered the Iron Giant in what was one of the most bizarre and drama filled races seen for some time. Dealing with the pressures of a second row start he calmly watched the first corner chaos before setting off to race his way from outside of the top 50 to the first step of the podium.
5. Video – Jarvis Scales Hell’s Peak
It almost feels like a lifetime ago but Jarvis’ victory at Hell’s Gate was nothing short of outstanding. In deep snow, the Brit set a pace around the treacherous Italian course that few could match. Scaling Hells Peak as the clear and worthy winner, Enduro21 was there to capture the moment.
