Making it two-for-two, Husqvarna’s Pela Renet ensured his visit to the BSEC was a successful one by taking his second straight win. Picking up from where he left off at round one, Renet again set the pace on the opening special test and clocked the fastest time.
But again Danny McCanney chased him hard. Ending the lap just six tenths of a second adrift of the Frenchman, McCanney was very much in contention for victory. With little to separate them, the duo quickly distanced themselves from the chasing Elite class riders. Holding off the Beta rider by just 10 seconds, Renet topped the classification.
Proving to be very much on form, McCanney delivered another inspired ride to chase Renet home for second.

Behind the top two, third place was fought out between Tom Sagar (KTM) and Husqvarna’s Jack Rowland. With only two seconds between them entering the final lap, it was Sagar that kept his nerve to secure third.
Crashing twice on the final lap, Rowland’s debut Elite class podium slipped from his grasp and he placed fourth.
Unable to capitalise on Rowland’s mistakes, KTM’s Steve Holcombe finished four seconds behind him in fifth.
After a shaky start to his day, Husqvarna’s Rob Johnson fought his way past Frazer Norrie (KTM) in the closing stages to take an eight-second margin of victory in the Under 23 class.

Untroubled in the Under 19 class, KTM’s Brad Freeman secured his second victory of the weekend while Jack Staines (KTM) easily topped the 125 Youth category.
TM’s Carl Brogden was again fastest in the Expert class.
Phil Lewis (KTM) beat Andrew Reeves to win the Expert Vets while Steve White was best of the Clubman Vets.
Reece Morewood (Yamaha) topped the Clubman class while Jane Daniels remained unbeaten in the Women’s category.
The Enduro21 ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship, powered by Husqvarna Motorcycles continues with rounds three and four in Saints Well, Wales on April 26/27.
