
Fuel injected two strokes are coming. And it looks like Sherco are about to get there first.

Sherco’s prototype of the 300 SE-R injection broke cover when our French friends Motoverte tested it for the latest issue of their magazine.
So far this is what we know…

The fuel injection system features a separate oil tank with a separate oil pump Two injectors feed the cylinder with air going through the injection body and reed valves.
Still in development – but with a view to being on the market in 2016 – the guys were very pleased with what they found.

The test model’s engine was powerful much like the carb version and felt very smooth in low RPMs. It worked well in technical sections.
The final version is expected for 2016 and also with a price tag to closely match the carburettor model.
