The first weekend of May marked the opening round of the Russian extreme enduro season.
Split over two days, the Kaluga region delivered some pretty awesome race action.
Day one featured an endurocross and hill climb contest.

Husqvarna’s David Leonov led the way to win the muddy endurocross race but had to play second best to the Sherco power of Dmitry Parshin in the hill climb.
The two favourites then when head-to-head for day two’s main event. With rain ensuring the race became a true test for all, Parshin led home Leonov for the win.
At the rip old age of 47, Oleg Bibikov showed the majority of his younger competitors the way home and grabbed third.
