On a ‘pick n’ mix’ sort of schedule for 2015, Taddy Blazusiak is giving the Enduro World Championship a blast this weekend in Spain.
Building towards next month’s biggie – Erzberg – Blazusiak makes his first serious competitive outing since the SuperEnduro schedule at round two of the EWC in Jerez, Spain.
Mixing it up in the Enduro 3 ranks, Blazusiak could become a serous outside bet for a podium result.
Dabbling a toe in EWC waters last year at the GP of Italy, the KTM rider led the way in Enduro 2 during the early part of day one and wasn’t far off ending his day inside the top three.
Now, having put a little extra preparation into his return – and considering adding a few more rounds in for 2015 – Blazusiak’s goal is to reach the EWC podium…

“I gave the EWC a go last year at the GP of Italy. I enjoyed it and got a flavour for it. Actually I think I surprised myself and a few others with how well I got on.
“I’d like to see, with a bit more effort, just how well I could do. It’s something I’ve never really done before so it’s kind of refreshing to take it on and give it a go.
“Special test racing is fairly specialized – those guys are dialled into it – but I like a challenge. I’d like to see if I could put it on the podium there too.”
