Taddy Blazusiak is the latest in an impressive line up of who’s who in motorcycling to sign up for the Superprestigio Dirt Track in Barcelona.
The Palau Sant Jordi stadium – home to indoor enduro and trials – will be transformed into a flat track circuit for the second year running on December 13.
In 2013 the race was a rip roaring success when MotoGP’s Marc Marquez and Brad Baker – the eventual race winner – went head-to-head.
This year the event is promising a lot more with. Marquez and Baker are back to resume their rivalry but they’ll be joined by a host of road racing stars and of course Blazusiak. Ivan Cervantes is also getting in on the action too.
“I attended the first Superprestigio as a spectator and I knew I had to give it a go,” told Blazusiak.
“Racing will be a real challenge, but I know how competitive I can be and I am sure I will have more than one elbow shave with the fastest guys.”
Blazusiak will compete on a dirt track tuned KTM 350.
We can’t wait to see him turn left and chuck it sideways…
