Reigning SuperEnduro Junior World Champion Danny McCanney has split with Gas Gas.
The Manx youngster, who also placed third in the Enduro Junior World Championship, competed in the final round of the Spanish Enduro Championship last weekend, bringing to a close his two-year relationship with the Girona based company.

2013 has been a tough season for Danny having failed to challenge for the Enduro Junior title as he hoped he would. Although Danny has yet to officially comment on exactly why his relationship with Gas Gas has come to an end, the announcement from Gas Gas that he won’t be riding for the Spanish brand comes just weeks after it was made public that Gas Gas have switched to a new, and as yet unknown, importer for their enduro bikes into the UK.

We’ll have more on Danny’s plans, and what he’ll race at the SuperEnduro opener in Liverpool, soon.
