Dec Bullock – World Championship Round 5 Italy: 7th July 2013
The Monza Motor Club hosted round 5 of this year’s World Trials Championship at Barzio in Italy where the conditions were hot and dry. Three laps of twelve hazards were contested with a very enthusiastic crowd supporting the event.
“I competed at the same venue on the Saturday in the European Championship and was pretty happy with my fifth place hoping I could carry the form into the WTC on the Sunday”.
“It was a tough day for me as I continue to learn in the very competitive environment of the WTC. The team was pushed for time all day and I was also not riding as well as I could have wished for and when it’s like this you feel as though all the observing descision go against you”.
“As a team we learned so much for today’s event and my tenth place finishing position was not where I wanted to be. I have to be more consistent with my riding and get on the pace from the word go”.
“The Beta performed well and it’s a credit to the ‘Roundhouse’ team that they remained focussed and it’s purely down to me to bring home the results we deserve as a team, thank you to everyone”.
