DEP & HONDA UK TEAM UP
Last year DEP teamed up with Honda UK and supplied our S7 exhaust systems for the replica Buildbase CRF-X’s and now they’re doing something similar again with guys in red.
Four time world motocross champion David Thorpe – who won all four of his titles with Honda – and not only runs Honda UK’s official MX1 motocross team as well as the Dave Thorpe Off Road Centre in South Wales, which of course is also backed by Honda, was again integral to the getting the deal done.
“Obviously we’re really pleased with the outcome and working with DEP on a similar project as before,” told Thorpe. “The Buildbase CRF-X replicas were a huge success for us and the Honda CRF250RE model is an equally fantastic model. We know first hand by putting all of the Honda off road models through their paces at the Off Road Centre in Wales, it’s tough going out there at times” says Thorpe.
“It was a no brainer for us to continue working with DEP Pipes with their long standing British manufacturing tradition. With Honda being the largest motorcycle manufacture in the world we like to align with quality brands, and once again we have.”
