Emma Bristow – UEM Ladies European TrialChampionship RD 1 Tanvald Czech Republic
The opening round of this year’s series took the ladies to the Czech Republic to contest the first round over two laps of twelve testing hazards. On the opening lap Britain’s Emma Bristow shared the lead with Spain’s Sandra Gomez. As the rain came down on the second lap the sections became more difficult but Bristow on the Sherco turned on the style to take a convincing eleven mark win over her rival.
Emma Bristow“That was the result I was looking for as I start my first year on the Sherco in this year’s European championship. On the first lap the competition was close with the sections a little easy and I parted with six marks. As the rain came down on the second lap and the hazards deteriorated and became much harder I managed to pull away from my rivals to take a convincing win”.
“It’s been a good event using the new No-Stop ruling and once again I have justified the faith shown in me by Sherco with this convincing win. I took a very short break after the success in Scotland at the ‘Scottish’ but now I will focus on this weekend’s British Championship round before I head back to Europe for the opening round of this year’s Ladies World Trials Championship in Andorra”.
“The team is working really well and the Sherco is performing to the maximum. I would like to thank every one who is contributing to the success and supporting me – Thank you”.
