EWC GP of Greece – SuperTest

Ivan Cervantes kicked off his GP of Greece in style by setting the fastest time in the Friday SuperTest in Kastoria.
With the SuperTest staged in the heart of the lakeside town of Kastoria, it seemed the majority of its inhabitants turned out to watch the stars of the Enduro World Championship in action. Leading the way with a blistering time that was over one-second clear of rival Alex Salvini, Cervantes topped the overall classification to take an early lead in the Enduro 2 class.
Despite starting side by side, Salvini was unable to match the pace set by Cervantes around the fast flowing test, which will also serve as the GP’s extreme test, and ended his night in second place.
Third fastest on the night went to Mathias Bellino. The young Frenchman has fast become a serious threat in the Enduro 3 ranks and now with an early lead he’s edging closer to his debut win in the Senior ranks.

Topping the Enduro 1 class Cristobal Guerrero held off Maurizio Micheluz for the win. Favourite to secure the E1 title this weekend, championship leader Antoine Meo lost 12 seconds to Guerrero when he collided with a trackside banner.
Joakim Ljunggren set the fifth fastest time of the night.
