Get Ready For The Sucker Punch Extreme Enduro

A new Hard Enduro hits Britain in February and it’s promising to be a belter. The Sucker Punch Extreme Enduro, masterminded by WOR Events – promoters of The Tough One – will stage the forestry-based event in North Wales on Sunday February 2nd 2014.
Located deep in the Llandrillo Forest, the Sucker Punch is like no other race on the calendar.
Spilt into two parts and two locations, the race will feature a morning qualification and then the afternoon main event.
During the morning qualifier a maximum of 100 riders will tackle a 90-minute Hare & Hound style race. Set out over a six mile course with some hard sections thrown in for good measure, the competitor’s finishing order will determine their starting order for the Sucker Punch main event.
Moving two miles to a new location, riders will brace themselves for the one-lap torture test. The ten-mile loop will feature a series of sections and challenges that will test a rider’s commitment, skill, strength and determination to breaking point.
With the 100 per cent natural terrain covering everything from climbs, descents, river crossings, bogs and fast technical going through the forest, this is Hard Enduro in it’s most natural form. And with the entire loop a certified ‘No Help Zone’ only the strongest will survive.
The first rider to reach the finish line will be declared the ‘Sucker Punch’ champion and will claim the lion’s share of the prize fund. Once a winner is declared the clock starts ticking and the rest of the field have just 30 minutes to finish. With the course broken down into sections – Gold, Silver and Bronze – awards will be given based on the number of sections completed.
With the event promising to be one not to be missed, entries are now open by visiting WOR EVENTS
Entries close December 31.
