ISDE Argentina 2014 – ACU British Team Selection

ISDE Argentina 2014 - ACU British Team Selection

Applications for those interested in competing for Great Britain in the 2014 ISDE in Argentina are now open.

The 2014 International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) will take place in Argentina during the period 3-8 Nov.

At present the ACU are not in a position to commit to the event, or announce which Teams it will be supporting (Trophy, Junior, Women’s).

In order to gauge interest and level of competence, riders (male or female) who wish to be considered for selection to ride in the ACU British teams for 2014 are invited to submit their interest in writing to the Team Manager before 10 Jan 2014.

For team selection, the applicant’s results in the FIM World Enduro Championship, FIME European Enduro Championship and ACU British Enduro Championship will be the first consideration.  Additionally consideration will be given to results in the ACU British Extreme Championship, ACU British Enduro Sprint Championship, GNCC and other national overseas enduro type events, ACU British MX Championship, Other national level ACU MX competitions and other selected qualifying/training Enduros – Welsh 2 day etc.

Please send a letter or email detailing the following; your name, date of birth, passport number (you must hold British passport), full postal address, telephone number (home and mobile), email address, any current sponsors and any notable achievements that you consider may influence selection to gbisdetm@yahoo.co.uk or call 07866 695630 for address.

If the ACU commit to sending a team/s then selected riders must be aware that they will be expected to make a contribution towards the cost of the trip, rough calculations are that bike transportation costs could be in the region £2500(under constant review), before other expenses such as entry, fuel etc.

Consideration should also be given to the transit time for motorcycles which will be approx 4 months. It is proposedthat any riders selected will be given the entry fee, fuel and support, riding shirts (compulsory wear), event license and insurance fees.

The ACU British ISDE Team are always looking for people or organisations that are prepared to help in anyway, if you think you may be able to assist, please do not hesitate to contact the Team Manager on the above email address.
