Jarvis Goes Four Stroke For Tough One

Switching things up for this Saturday’s The Tough One Hard Enduro, Graham Jarvis has confirmed that he’ll race a four-stroke at Hawkstone Park.

Opting to contest his Husqvarna FE 250 instead of his usual TE 300, choice of machinery is sure to add some spice to the outcome of the race.

With a growing affection for the quarter litre thumper this won’t be the first time he’s raced the FE 250 in a major Hard Enduro event. Last November he took it to the formidable Roof of Africa. Winning that race by a massive 60 minutes proves he no slouch on it and while The Tough One is a much different race it’s going to be very interesting to see if his gamble pays off.

“I really love riding the 250f,” Jarvis told Enduro21.com. “I think it’ll suit the three hour format of the race. It’s easy to ride and the power delivery is so smooth that it doesn’t require much effort to throw the thing about. Over the duration of the race I think that will be important.

“I raced it at the Roof of Africa but since then I’ve spent a lot more time on it at local events and the Eddy’s Xtreme series. I’m looking forward to trying it out around Hawkstone Park. But don’t worry – it’s only a one-off ride. I’ll be back on the two-stroke for Erzberg.”
