Jarvis Set For Final Husaberg Outing In Australia

Husaberg’s Graham Jarvis heads a wealth of talent set to compete at the Bioflex Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro in Australia on Sunday November 10.
Regarded as one of the toughest Hard Enduro events in Australia, the Wildwood Rock Extreme returns for its fifth edition. And with three former champions – Jarvis, Matt Phillips and Mitch Harper – going head to head it’s set to be one of the best yet.
Returning to the event for the first time since 2011, Jarvis is one of the main favourites for success. In 2011 he not only won the race but managed to lap the entire field. With Wildwood marking his final ride on the Husaberg, the Brit is keen to make it a memorable one but he knows winning won’t come easy.
“I loved coming to Australia last time as it was a whole new experience and challenge. But I’m sure it will be harder to win this time,” told Jarvis.
As the defending champion of Wildwood and the newly crowned Enduro Junior World Champion, Matt Phillips is looking for back-to-back wins and the opportunity to collect the lion’s share of the $23,750 prize fund on offer.
Healed from his horrific back injury sustained earlier this year, Mitch Harper – 2010 winner – makes his return to competitive action in Wildwood. Mounted on Husaberg machinery, Harper will be pushing hard for a top result.
Joining them, Husaberg’s Alfredo Gomez will be a serious contender for victory. In 2012 the Spaniard placed as runner-up to Phillips. He’s since enjoyed a stunning debut season of Hard Enduro and most recently shared victory with Jarvis at the Enduro Ukupacha in Ecuador.
The Wildwood Extreme starts with a Prologue on Sunday 9am followed by the three-hour main event at 11am.
