Home favourite Andreas Lettenbichler made it a successful debut aboard his new KTM. Runner-up to Knight, the German was pleased with his night’s work.
If it wasn’t for bad luck in Vellahn, Hungarian Kornel Nemeth wouldn’t have had any luck at all. Starting last, he spent the entire race fighting his way through traffic to place third.
Missing out on a podium result by just six seconds, Brit Paul Bolton was fourth.
After a night of action packed racing, the party in Vellahn continued into the early hours of the morning with a full-on rock concert.
