LJUNGGREN HAMMERS HOME WIN AT OSTHAMMAR

The Knobby Swedish Cup headed to Osthammar for round three of the series where KTM’s Joakim Ljunggren stamped his authority on the race with a commanding win.
Joakim Ljunggren won the scratch of the Swedish Enduro Cup for the 36th consecutive time that he’s contested a round of the series. Note: Ljunggren didn’t race the Swedish championship in 2013 and 2014. Ljunggren now holds the lead in E2 and Swedish Enduro Cup with three races remaining.
Teammate Andreas Linusson did give Ljunggren a fair challenge though and was second overall with Pontus Högberg third. Linusson maintains his lead in the Enduro 3 class.
Yamaha mounted Johan Edlund brought his WR250F home second in Enduro 1. Edlund took over the E1 lead as Robert Kvarnström cut short his season due to a broken ACL and meniscus sustained at the last round of the Swedish motocross championship.
It was also a big day for Team Ljunggrens Motor at the third round of Knobby Swedish Enduro Championship. Niklas Persson won the E1 category, Joakim Ljunggren the E2 (plus Scratch) and Andreas Linusson the E3.
