Mitch Harper Cleared To Race Again

Five months following his serious practice crash in Sweden, Australia’s Mitch Harper has been giving the all clear to race again.
Harper, who arrived in Europe to contest the 2013 Enduro Junior World Championship with Swedish based team Johansson MP, crashed in training and fractured his T7 and T12 vertebrae.
“I was practising on a motocross track and the engine cut in the air over a big tabletop and I went on my head – with the bike on top of me.”
After a promising start to his season where he scored top ten results in South America, Harper was reluctantly forced to put his EWC aspirations on hold.
Now five months on and returned to Australia for the winter months, Harper has joined forced with Husaberg Australia to contest the Australian Extreme Enduro Season.
“I feel pretty much back to normal” says the 21-year-old. “I have been training hard on my road and mountain bikes, and used gym work to up my level of fitness. I’m looking forward to racing the Australian Extreme Enduro Season.”
Harper’s first event will be the Wildwood Rock in November 10.
