Enduro 3 World Champion Christophe Nambotin has crashed out of competition on day two of the EWC GP of France in St Flour.
Suffering a high-speed crash during the third Cross Test, the KTM rider was forced to retire.
Leading the E3 class by 28 seconds entering the third test of five, Nambotin spectacularly crashed out of the race midway through the test.
Cresting a blind hill, he hit a rock buried in the dirt. Hitting the ground hard he was visibly shaken.
After a couple of minutes rest and an initial medical examine, the world champion walked off the course unaided but has opted to sit out the rest of the day.
