NAMBOTIN & RENET CROWNED WORLD CHAMPIONS
It was a big day at the office for both Christophe Nambotin and Pela Renet on day two in Italy with both crowned Enduro World Champions for 2014.
Switching to the Enduro 1 category, many wondered if Nambotin could successfully transfer his speed from E3 across to the smaller capacity 250 four-stroke. With one round of the series still remaining, Nambotin proved his worth and deliver the goods. Winning the day to clinch the Enduro 1 World Championship this title makes it three on the bounce for the Frenchman but more importantly his first on a four-stroke.
Moments later attention turned to the Husqvarna awning when Pela Renet arrived as the newly crowned Enduro 2 World Champion. Renet’s been flat out awesome this year and as everyone around him fell apart he grew stronger and stronger. Today – in appalling weather conditions – he rode smart and for the title. Third in E2 was more than enough to take his second world championship.
Congrats guys – awesome work this year!
