With Bib-Mousse, we suggest fitting one of our neat stainless steel bolt in valves. Even with a brand new Bib Mousse and bib-up bead lube, sometimes you can’t get the bead to seat nicely and pop out on the rim.

By fitting a Bolt in valve you can give it a quick blast of air from a compressor that does the trick (the air soon escapes via the spokes).
The valves remain in place and prevent water and grit entering via the redundant (inner tube) hole on the rim.
