This is a neater alternative to carrying a tyre paste bucket and brush, which can dry out (you still use the Michelin mousse gel lube in a conventional way inside the tyre and on the mousse, VERY important not to get this on tyre bead as it does not dry!) Simply spray bib-up on the tyre bead just prior to fitting, it enables the tyre to set properly on the rim, particularly good in race situations when it’s not possible to use a compressor.
If you’re not trackside and have the luxury of a compressor on hand, we recommend a bolt-in valve with the valve core removed for two reasons. Firstly this enables a short blast of air to seat the bead, and secondly, with a dust cap fitted it stops water and debris from entering the tyre.
