RAW Summit Extreme Enduro Round-up

With the weather hitting 28 degrees on Sunday 25th June, the RAW Summit Extreme event was a hot one!

We never like to miss an event so of course Endurotyres were there to take part and support the riders. As always the event was tough, battling boulders and waterfalls and a killer steep ravine.

Tyred out

Paul Daley-Smith, owner of Endurotyres.com, headed to the event to represent the business and take part. For this extreme event he chose a Michelin front tyre (hard) and a Metzeler rear tyre (extra soft 140/80-18).

Metzeler extra soft tyres are designed for the most difficult technical sections and harshest terrains; with a section of the race running through a river bed with slippery rocks Paul chose the right tyre for the job!

The event was tough, with Paul even saying ‘it was very hard going in the heat’, nevertheless the riders pushed themselves and their bikes to the limits across an intimidating track.

What a result!

The event saw some impressive rides for everyone involved including P1 win for Dan Peace, followed by Mitch Brightmore and Jack Price in P2 & P3 respectively!
