ROBERT’S TURN TO TOP THE ENDUROCROSS PODIUM
Damn – this year’s EnduroCross championship is proving tighter than a camel’s arse in a sand storm. For the third week in a row there’s a different winner on the cards. And this time around it’s a debut win too!
Getting back onto the podium last weekend in Salt Lake City, Taylor Robert went two places better in Everett and won the main event.
Having almost disembowelled himself during a pre season training crash, it’s understandably taken Robert a while to get back racing at the sharp end of the pack. But now – with two rounds of the series remaining and championship very much to play for – he’s firing on all cylinders at just the right time.
“So freaking hyped up right now,” told Robert. “Just won my first AMA Endurocross race. The track was insane and super technical. This feels so good after three and a half years of podiums to finally get on the top step.”

Colton Haaker brought his Honda home for second while last week’s winner Cody Webb picked himself up from a crash in the rocks to take third.
It was an eventful night for Taddy Blazusiak where things just didn’t go his way. A crash in the first corner put him on the back foot. At the end of lap one he’d made it back to fourth and a couple of laps he was third, fighting for second. But then another crash knocked him back to fifth. Eventually he crossed the finish line in fourth…
“It wasn’t the best of nights as we had a lot of problems. We have a few weeks to regroup and will come back strong for Boise.”
In the Women’s class it was another race win for Sandra Gomez.
After three rounds on the bounce, the series takes five until November 15th.
