SuperEnduro Brazil – Practice Update

SuperEnduro Brazil is underway! Practice is just complete and it’s Husqvarna’s Alfredo Gomez that’s topped the time sheets.

Fast and smooth, Gomez was on rails as he guided his Husqvarna to the fastest lap during Free Practice.

David Knight clocked a flyer on the final lap to slot into second while Taddy Blazusiak was close behind in third.

It’s not until the riders hit the track for the first time that we get a better idea of how it rides. And immediately after the first practice session it was met with mixed report.

Slippery as hell was the general agreement. That hard red Brazilian dirt caught many riders out early on as they struggled to find grip. Most opted for a tyre change and it seems to have done the trick.

It might be the first time SuperEnduro has arrived to South America but it’s already proving quite a hit with big queues from 9am as spectators snapped up the last of the tickets on offer. We could be on for a sell out.

Round three of the SuperEnduro World Championship gets underway in earnest at 15.45 for SuperPole.

Can Knight keep Blazusiak off the top step of the podium for the second time in a row or has Gomez got the measure of them this time around?
