SuperEnduro GP of Finland Cancelled
Round two of the 2014 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship scheduled to take place in Tampere, Finland on December 7th has been cancelled.
Citing a difficulty in securing sponsorship to cover their costs of running the event, it seems event organisers have been reluctantly forced to cancel the event.
Jani Hovi of Xracing.fi explains…
“The event lost a major sponsor at a critical moment and organisers were unable to continue in the running of the event. It’s very unfortunate…”
As yet championship organisers ABC Communications have yet to issue an official comment on the situation but the loss of the GP of Finland to the series is extremely disappointing.
