The sun was out at Anglesey for the MICHELIN Power Cup

Tony Keilty (Kawasaki) won all four Michelin Power Cup 1000 races to take his tally of points to 111 points and open up a 48 point lead over his closest rival, Darren Blackwell (Kawasaki).

Keilty did not have it all his own way, though.

He was chased over the line at the end of the nine-lap first race by Kevin Allen (Honda). Keilty’s winning margin less than half a second.

Keilty had a more comfortable time next time out, beating Richard White (Honda) to the line in the 12-lapper by over 12 seconds.

Allen was third eight seconds further back.

Keilty wrapped up his hat trick with a near 19 seconds victory over White.

Darren Blackwell (Kawasaki) was third.

Greg Allsop, who led the championship after the opening round at Oulton, did not race and paid a heavy price.

He dropped to fifth and is 61 points behind new leader Keilty.

Allsop will return to the championship in the next round at Donington Park on June 9.

Paul Wood (Yamaha) blotted his unbeaten run of victories in the Rookies, when after four wins in a row he had a dnf in the fifth.

William White (Triumph 675) carried on where he had left off at Oulton Park in the Michelin Power Cup 600.

Not only did he win all his four races to continue his unbeaten run of six events, he was first over the line, beating all the big bikes

His victories took him to 125 points, 19 more than Richard Charlton (Yamaha).

Wayne Humble (Yamaha) is third, on 84.

Richard Telford (Kawasaki) now leads the Rookies 600 class with 110 points to the 97 of Jordan Greenshields.
