Walker and Redondi Set For Colombian Battle

Jonny Walker and Giacomo Redondi head the line up of international talent set to contest the Red Bull Camino de la Independencia in Colombia.
The Road to Independence event, which marks it’s second edition, will see competitors race the same tracks across Quindio that served as the battle field for Colombia’s independence hundreds of years ago.
Staged over two days, November 9 will see the 400-plus riders whittled down to 200 in the Prologue. The main event, Sunday November 10, sees riders face a tough, traditional style enduro.
Heading the line up, the KTM duo of Walker and Redondi are favourite for top honours. With his recent victory at the Red Bull Sea to Sky Walker is on top form but with the race featuring the special test element of enduro he faces a tough challenge of beating Redondi who ended 2013 as the runner up in the Enduro Junior World Championship.
In the mix, Mexico’s Homero Diaz and Guatemala’s Diego Ordonez are also eyeing up success.
